San Jose Fantasy Faire — this weekend, April 11th & 12th
We will be attending the San Jose Fantasy Faire this weekend. It’s a bit of a cross between a typical renaissance faire and Disneyland.

FCC is back!

We are looking forward to the return of the Fresno City College Faire in less than 2 weeks, March 14-15. We went to our inaugural event there in 2004.
Most of my original photos were lost when the disk was destroyed, but there are still photos on the old website. Look at http://www.stmichaelssalle.com/oldwebsite/photos/FCC04.html to start.

We will be at Much Ado About Sebastopol (MAAS) in less than two weeks. This event will be held at Ives Park in Sebastopol on Saturday and Sunday, September 13th & 14th.
Stop by to see the member of St. Michael’s Salle fence and teach and fence and craft and fence. Did we mention there will be fencing? 🙂

San Jose Faire 2014 – Saturday
No major injuries! (at least, none requiring medical attention)
A great breeze!
And a good crowd.

San Jose Faire coming up
We hope to see everyone at the upcoming San Jose Faire, which will be held at Guadalupe River Park in downtown San Jose on August 2nd and 3rd.
We won’t know where our location is within the faire site until the day before. Look for the banner and the tent flags.

Re-enacting Sword Fights from books
While at Baycon this year, Tony and Jeremy had an opportunity to re-enact several sword fights from books. Todd Gallowglas and A.E. Marling both took the opportunity to read scenes from several books, including Baycon GOH David Weber’s “Flag in Exile” and R.A. Salvatore’s Drizzt series. Hilarity ensued in some cases, and a good time was had by all.
The video is funny — it’s unedited from my iphone, but you’ll definitely get the idea!

We will be doing this again during Convolution in September. If you’d like to see your favorite scene acted out, send us e-mail.
