Ted got delivery of the "metal stuff" -- Hardy frames, Simpson ties, rebar this week.

These 6" rings of rebar go into the piers, to provide horizontal support along with the vertical rebar. The same sort of thing is in all of the piers in the new (under construction) Emergency Department at O'Connor, except a lot bigger.
The rebar is assembled in the pier holes. There are little concrete blocks tied to the rings, to keep them centered.

Ted uses a laser level to set the height for the other side of the forms.
