Well, we're back with a rain delay... our painter is behind and won't be here for probably a week. And the rest of the work can't be done until he's finished.
We're left with the completion of some small jobs.
I've been working on paint colors, etc. Dunn Edwards has a great feature on their website, which lets you create multi-color schemes. You can see what the different colors look like when put together, order chips if you don't have a store conveniently located (ours is about a mile away from the house), etc.
The kitchen counters arrived and were installed, as was the fireplace surround.

And the railing for the staircase arrived. The spindles still have to be placed.
