We're into finishing mode now...

They've been working on the taping for the sheetrock. The weather has not been helping, since it's been so damp and cold. One thing we're pleased about is our choice to put a second door into each of the hall linen closets, thus letting someone in the bathroom get things out of the closet without having to go into the hallway.

I was actually rather surprised to see them put up the scratch coat of the stucco on Tuesday.
We figure it will take at least a week before it dries enough to put up the second coat.

And PG&E showed up (in the midst of storm repairs) to hook up the electricity to the new box.

We went to Burman Cabinets to look at samples, and discuss the kitchen cabinet layout. We're expecting a tentative layout next week.
