While Stephen was doing all of the hard work, I got to paint...

The master bedroom and one of the others were a very dirty off-white. The middle bedroom was an intriguing orangy-yellow. All of the trim was chipped and dirty. The living room was a dark mauve tone... very depressing. So we went to with a vengeance.

I started in the guest bedroom... figuring I'd get any mistakes out of the way there. We chose a light green with white trim and kept the existing drapes & blinds. And I had hunter green bedding.
We decided to keep the office orange... for now. It's rather cheery, and some of my art looks great. It's interesting how differently it photos, depending on the ambient light.
We went back and forth on the paint chips for the bedroom... and settled on a light blue called "harbor blue" - I thought it rather fitting, since all the Nelsons sail.
You see what we mean about dreary... and all of our furmiture is dark woods. The new color will be "summer breeze" - once we get to it.
